Hello,

Here is a link to the digital counters page from the EDUCYPEDIA.
http://www.educypedia.be/electronics/digitacounters.htm

If you post things in a Zip that are made in word2007 not everybody will be able to read it.
Save you doc as word 97/2003 than much more people will be able to read it, as not everybody has word2007 yet.
I have a linux PC with openoffice that has problems with drawings of word2007 that i can not see.

Greetings,
Bertus

The counter is an asynchronous decade counter (a lousy way to build counters, by the way). It counts 0-9 and on the next clock the decoder gate resets the counter to zero. Since there are ten states it will divide the the input frequency by 10. (10kHz/10=1kHz)
