I am interfacing VS-2 servo motor with ATMEGA32 microcontrller directly with its port. Due to this my source voltage drops from 5v to 2v. I have no idea why this is happening. My programming is correct. please suggest me how to overcome this problem.

 

Post your schematic and actual type of the servo.

 

off the top of my head.. the ATMEGA shouldnt be driving the stepper directly.. should be using a stepper driver or buffer/mosfet of some sort..
