lm392n is an 8 pin ic with a comparator on one side and opamp on the other side. I am trying to make a triangle wave generator with it. The ramp generator will of course be the opamp.
I have made the same connections that work with a LT1490 and LT1018 but it is not working on the single ic LM392N. Did see a reference that the opamp is not the same as other opamps. But Texas Instruments don't say what the difference is.
Can anybody give me a circuit for the lm392n which will give a triangle wave output. Single supply operation please.

 

Use the comparator to create a square wave generator. Then use the opamp to create an integrator.

You did not attach the schematic of the circuit you made that did not work. Please attach it so we can see your wiring or power supply problem.

 

If the circuit worked with the LT1490 and LT1018, then it should work with the LM392.
