Let me correct myself by explanation:
A 12V - 20Ah battery can deliver 12 volts; 1 amp for 20 hours. Or 20 amps for 1 hour.
Automotive batteries are rated at Cold Cranking Amps meaning it may be a 12V - 100Ah battery with 450 CCA, that is 450 amps for a moment during starting a car.

Yes, it's a statement of charge. I misspoke before. Hope this clears up what I wanted to say. If I'm still wrong others will correct me. If that happens - it just means I don't know everything.
