Now all you've got to do is get another 59 LEDs!

 

That's 4 leds LOL the video looks like one there brite. Need 56 LOL I got it to mess around with these dang things use a lot of power.

Ones I'm going to use be closer to a 100 leds. Thanks

Just thought it might be worth mentioning that the 14 pin PIC16F1454 will also run with a 48MHz clock and it can generate that from its internal oscillator so the only connections would be power and the output pin. The code would probably need only some minor tweaks.

 

There's a guy out there who's done a lot of work with the NeoPixel LEDs, and he found that the timing wasn't as difficult as it appears from the spec sheet as shown by Adafruit. Apparently what counts is the high time per bit--500nsec max for a zero, 550nsec min for a one--but the high time for a one, or the low time for either bit, can be stretched quite a lot.
