Hi guys

What would happen if I charge a lithium iron phosphate battery under 0 degree C.

I know that it won't charge, but what else does it do? will it blow up? I am interested in the safety aspects when charging under 0 degree C.

My first impression is that it will warm up to above 0 degree then start charging.

Google show me little info, if someone have info about this, please let me know, thanks guys :)

edit:
I am also interested in the capacity vs. temperature, I know that at lower temperature, the capacity drop while a bit, but I don't know for sure. the datasheet doesn't say much.
