Hi, new to forum
I'm looking for how to make a lightweight high voltage powersupply
~50kV
~100W
from a battery of 12V that can source e.g. 10-20A
the candidates seem to be
1. generate sine to feed regular stepup transformer, use cockroft-walton to reach final voltage
2. generate square of the 'right' duty cycle/freq to feed flyback transformer, use cockroft-walton to reach final voltage
3. tesla coil
any ideas on what would be lightest/cheapest/superior in some other
