Since you are putting a 10.5W lamp in a 40W fixture, what is to worry?

I wouldn't own a lamp fixture made out of paper mache... I like mine to be steel!

From the web page, the lamp takes an E27 bulb which has a 27mm thread. The BR-30 bulb is apparently a standard E26 USA bulb with a 1" (26mm) thread. According to this, the two are "usually" interchangeable, so no guarantees.

Hello,

As said, you most likely can use the E26 bulb in the E27 socket.
The other way aurond would not fit.
I am worried about the diameter of the bulb, if it would fit inside the lamp.

Also it is strange that people will pay so much for "design".
