I've made them, for combat robotics. You need to be more specific, and be prepared to discuss it in the forum.

 

This is my light tree over the bot being toasted. The timer below is a little LCD display computer on the safe side of the lexon, something I wrote a simple little GW BASIC program for.

Light trees are used for car events, such as drag races. Basically it is a open ended subject, so we need to know what you're trying to do.

Nope, but there are still hobby groups kicking around. Check the Dephi forums if you want to hook up. My group is defunct. But it was good while it lasted.

wat i meant was the light tree used for optical communication making use of wavelength division multiplexing.
