Hi I recently burn my controller board IC and would like to know what part is it.If its an IC whats its role and its part number.

Looks like a Switchmode psu chip, possibly a Viper 22/27 series.?

7 pins in a 8 pin dil package.

Here is a Typical circuit from the Datasheet of the NCP1070 chip, if it's blown then i would be checking the bridge rectifier too.

 

What about this as it shows mainly at washing machine repair kit parts
