can u pls tell me what is wrong with this ckt? even on changing the potentiometer resistor value, no change in the output led..

 

Calculate the voltages on both pins of the op-amp as a function of the potentiometer setting. Are you concerned about D3 or D4?

 

Where did you get the circuit? There are some mistakes in it.
