Hi all,
I am looking for some technical assistance with a current project I have been tasked with.
The project requires the construction of an optical link using LED. the distance of transmission is short (few centimeters). Most traditional FSO systems utilise a Laser as the light source but they are long-range and very expensive.
The end system needs to be required to transmit/receive data bi-directionally at high speeds of around 100Mbps max.
Does anyone have any knowledge or experience in designing circuits that may be possible of achieving this? I have looked at IrDA products but it seems that the limit of their transceivers are 4mbps.
Any help is massively appreciated!!
