Hello, i'm new to circuits and want to make this led floodlight to work from car battery. Unfortunately, light works from 230v ac.
The question - is it possible to unsolder some components to make it work with 12v? The light itself is 20watts.

Do you have a schematic for the light? It might not be so simple as unsoldering some wires. LEDs need current regulation. Methods used for plug in version may or may not be as efficient as those using a battery.

Why not just buy a 12V floodlight? They are very cheap.

Not likely. If you absolutely have to use this light, the easiest solution would be to buy an inverter (12V to 230VAC). Otherwise, buy one intended for 12V.
