There have been a number of recent threads about using the 8 pin ATtiny85 microprocessor on this forum which you might like to look at. You could have one output pin driving an LED turned on and off with quasi random numbers of milliseconds between on and off. The off periods should be shorter than the on periods. I can’t think of a way to make a 555 astable to blink an LED except with on and off periods of fixed values which would be unrealistic
