The laboratory complement to the latest edition of The Art of Electronics is available now. This is a standalone introductory course to analog and digital electronics. There are 25 Laboratory sections with various circuit builds and experiments, each is preceded by the relevant theory and worked examples. This is a more informal, less rigorous and a more approachable text for beginners than the Art of Electronics. But the Art of Electronics is a good companion where you can delve into more breadth and detail if you so desire.

I'm using and appreciating it! very well done to start!

You jump from a book to another in a soft and comfortable way.

One disappointment: impossible to carry both!!!

Agreed, I would have preferred that AOE had been broken up into 2 volumes. They could have added another 100+ pages and it would still have been more comfortable to read. LTAOE in 2 volumes and spiral wound so it could lay open on a bench would have been appreciated as well. AOE is now offered as an ebook.

By the way you can get the complete parts list for LTAOE in Excel spreadsheets, making it easy to upload them into the distributors shopping carts. Go to BobsURuncle post over at the EEVBlog or Google "Learning The Art of Electronics - Parts BOM"
