Sir nas2000co . . . . . .

Nope . . . . NO WAY . . . . on the Simpson company's relevance

The only info readily available on that "family" of Leader Instrumentation, seems to be the initial LGO 600 model of that series.
Fill us in with a like comparison of your units faceplate construction and layout.
HERE . . . is what I am seeing . . . .

Additionally reference to . . . .
https://www.radiomuseum.org/r/leader_lgo600_lgo_60.html

At each of the top corners are the control knobs and scales for both a marker and a sweep generators.

Far left, just below the marker generator section are 6 controls and related control knobs and a guesstimation, would be a 5 way black ground connection, and a 1/4 inch phone jack for external audio modulations insertion and for sure . . . an Amphenol RF output connector for RF output.

Far right, just below the sweep generator section are 6 related control knobs and an Amphenol RF output connector for RF sweep output, as the extreme right connection. Beside it looks to be the power on indicator jewel and I will have to pass on the next two black 5 way binding posts.
Above that, would be the 6 controls and their knobs being related to this different type of signal generator.

In the center is about a 3 inch oscilloscope tube and 4 of its its principally used display trimming controls at each corner.

Down below are 6 controls / switches and their knobs and would assuredly be related to additional O-scope sensitivity and sweep rate. Additionally at the very bottom are two more Amphenol connectors related to this center area. One could expect one to be the input for the O-scope.

In my additionally seeing the grillework of a speaker, at bottom center, one could additionally expect the other Amphenol connector to be related to the input for an audio amplifier section to drive that speaker in the utilization of audio signal tracing /or/ RF signal tracing, if using a detector probe at the input.

TheLGO- 600 unit relates to be using 18 vacuum tubes to create all of its feats. I can see, right at 10 of them being related to the O-scope function .
Plus, they give 6X4's being used in the DC power supply along with an 1X2B which would be for the high voltage section of the O scope section. With them using a special high voltage winding on the power transformer for creating ~3-5KV for the O-scope HV ultor supply.

So . . . . now you need to compare the units slightly upnumbered version that you have to see if they aren't actually being brothers.

Come back with the tube count and numbers and close up good photos should give me a chance to point out he most suspect areas of possible problems.
With an already known fact that the MOST likely would be the time related attrition of E-caps in the power supply section.

NOW . . .. just how great is your cross education from mechanics to electronics and specifically old age vacuum tube technology ?
If I have GOOD photos, I can fill you in on what to be looking for.

Hi there,
The genescope is a measuring instrument for measuring IF bandfilters, used in radio and television. You can also make the measurement with an sweep generator and an oscilloscope. If you still have this equipment and have no use for it; I'm very interested in it...... Please let me know if you want to get rid of it.....
Kind regards, Leo
