Hi All,
have problem with lcd monitor (maybe somewhere in power supply?) Flatron L246WH. Problem begin after some few minutes when monitor is running and cirquits warm up. Can not force this behaviour after monitor dismantle. Error symptoms starts with brightness flicking and ends after few minutes with black screen. Elyt capacitors on ps board are changed. Any idea ? sorry my englisch

 

Sorry for the obvious question, but is there enough air flow around and through the display?

 

Yes, airflow is good, yesterday I use soyuz procedure and cut big hole for 10cm cpu fan. But... i try explain my discovery. Flicking is not caused by heat (as I thing before), it is caused by airflow trought case. Heated air is rising like in smokestack and cold air from bottom cool something. Now I can force error after dismantling, will try heat pcb by parts with hot air blower pistol or IR lamp.
