Hi,
just got this used 3d printer and found out that the LCD matrix display have a smudge where its cable goes into it.
Is there a way to make this better, without buying new module and waiting couple of weeks for it :)

I tried prying metal near the spot with my fingernail, it made it better like 10% and made my fingernail worse 100% :)

Any tried and tested methods for fixing stuff like this?

Regards

If I understand you correctly, the cable is distorting the LCD. Is this right? If so, then it is a mechanical problem. Can you show a detailed picture of where the cable goes into the display?

If the LCD glass is distorted then you will get "smudges". For example, if you press hard on your laptop's display you will see this happen. (Note that this is hypothetical -- don't abuse your screen this way).
