Nisha, you aare going to have to draw the circuit of that matrix before I can figure any answer. I am not at all familiar with a "tieset matrix." (are you certain that this discussion is appropriate for this venue??)

ME? I have absolutely no idea what this is.

 

OK, now I see what it is. And probably there is some value to the concept. But I have not come acrossit in my extended engineering career.
Can anyone provide a REAL WORLD example of requiring a solution for such???
Possibly in a third semester DC circuit analysis class exam.

My guess is that it might have applicability is working with very large networks in simulations, perhaps in dealing with continuous systems that are simulated using finite element methods, but that's just a guess.
