Latching Relay with Single Input

I’m a real novice and looking for a latching style relay to control two circuits using one momentary pushbutton. The ideal operation is as follows:
  • Push button once – circuit one is energized, circuit two is de-energized
  • Push button again- circuit one is de-energized, circuit two is energized
  • Push button again- circuits operate as described in first bullet, etc.
The voltage as 12vdc for both the push button and the circuits being controlled and amperage is 10 amps max

I realize I might need two relays but the key is only one push button

Can you pleased recommend a relay(s) and wiring

Why not use one relay with 2 sets of contacts?
Unless you actually do need the state with both relays de-energized.

Max,

I am very new at this. When I look up the Omron relay you reference, it looks says it's non latching. Maybe my description isn't clear - the push button is a momentary switch, so I'm wondering how we keep one the circuits powered and the other one not

The circuit does it via the Diodes and cap.
I have used it so I know it works, the relay is a standard relay (non-latching) it is the circuit that achieves the flip flop action.
Relay A has two spare contacts, relay B 1 set spare.

ok..once again excuse my lack of knowledge. In you diagram I'm confused what part is internal to the relays vs additional components (diode, caps) and what would be the pin outs

Just plain relays with 4 sets of contacts and the coil, the components added are 1-P.B., 3-Diodes 1n4007 , 1-100μf capacitor, 1-20Ω resistor.
For different relays or voltage the Res & cap may have to be changed slightly in value.
Max.
