Hello everyone,
I got a few old laser printers and took them about for the great motors in them. But they also have some great laser assembles. Can anyone tell me how they power the lasers? I see 3 connection going to the laser itself from the circuit board, if any can shed light on this please let me know. If more info is need I can provide that. There are 7 terminals on the curcuit board itself. thanks Justin

Hmm, well if Vex Robotics is anything to go by, then on those three wires you have ground, +voltage and signal in some order. What I personally would do is try randomly applying power to each of the pins until I got a laser beam.

Isn´t the laser beam invisible in laser printers? I thought it is IR laser, so you won´t be able to see it, you can just burn your eyes...
