I have one of these and the excellent part is the AC voltage range down to 50 millivolts full scale. Replacing the tubes with some sort of semiconductors, probably FET devices, would bring it back to life. The 12AU7 should not be a problem, but the 6BN6 is normally an FM detector, with two control grids.
I don't have the circuit so it will be a bit more challenge to come up with a conversion scheme.
Has anybody already done that conversion? OR tried and had it not work???
