Hello everybody. Does someone know how much ohms is the R1 resistor of kxtl-230 treadmill controller, becouse it was burned and I cannot see the colours of it, to understand how much Ohm's . I spend too much time to search pictures but they are with too bad quality and I cannot recognise the colours of the resistor. And there are no schemes of it or I can't find. If someone have the same controller maybe can help me with a picture of the resistor or if he know the Ohms. Thank you very much and sorry for my bad English.

I already saw this, but I think the controller is different.. Also hard to find the colours..

 

It may be possible to do a little reverse-engineering and get an idea what the function is of the failed resistor, the circuit does not look all that complicated.

 

The problem was the motor. It was not working, so I decide to open it and check what is the problem.. What I saw there were 2 or 3 conctions from the windings to the commutator were desoldered, so I decide to solder them and after that I epoxy them. After that I install the motor and when I start the treadmill there was an unexpected shortage and the transistor and the resistor were burned... Maybe the problem was from the motor... So I decide to unmount it and test it on 220v socket, it was working very bad and it become very hot for seconds... I gave the motor to a specialist and he told that it was burned and is for rewinding... But he refused to rewind it... Becouse as he saw it... It was not for first time rewinded and he can't be sure that the guy before rewinded it properly soo he told that he can't give me a guarantee that everything will be perfectly as he don't have schematic to follow..... Maybe I will try by my own to rewind it (I watched a video from YouTube, on the same motor) .. But the problem is that I'am not a profi... And I don't have the knowledge to measure some stuffs and understand how much Ohms should be the burned resistor.... That's my story... I'll be very happy if someone who has the same controller to share a picture of that resistor or tell me how much ohm is... The treadmill is of my girlfriend and I want to suprice her with repairing it..
