Hello. In my milling machine the kjd17b switch has broken.

I understand these switches when they are 4 pins, but what is the samll 5th pin for? I have looled up in the internet but I can´t find the answer. Also I have seen this pin connected to one of tu¡he output pins

Thank you

Best resgards

The fifth is connected to one of the output pins Relay coil?
Apparently the fifth is ‎power outage and under voltage protection
Specifically for Machine tool applications.

I don´t understand. How it works that 5th pin?

it is strange. In the milling machine, that pin goes to other wire not connected with one pin of the output. But in the lathe, this small pin is directly connected to one of the output pins

The spec reads With safeguards against low and excessive current, this switches automatically cuts off the circuit when necessary, ensuring safety and preventing damage.
I assume if the contact of the switch opens or the power drops, there is the 5th conductor used for safety interlock and alarm purposes\!?
