What is the use of the parameter 'Junction Capacitance' in a Diode Datasheet? what does it signify?

Why should we have low junction capacitance?

What would happen if the input voltage increases or decreases to the junction capacitance parameter? will it have any effect on the output voltage or the the power dissipation of the diode?

It refers to the capacitance when the diode is reverse biased.
Why should we have low junction capacitance?
It depends on the application. In some cases, you want high junction capacitance.
What would happen if the input voltage increases or decreases to the junction capacitance parameter?
It depends on whether you're talking about reverse bias or forward bias. For forward bias, junction capacitance is swamped by diffusion capacitance. For reverse bias, capacitance is voltage dependent.
