hello everyone,

I am trying to simulate a half bridge gate driver using the IR2110 IC in multisim and keep on getting an error. I attached a circuit diagram and error list below.... i believe its a setting that i am not sure about.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

(the output of the comparator gives the PWM and inverted PWM signal to the Driver)

 

Try to either run the convergence analysis since mine worked just fine after running it

here's my ckt that works. highly suggest you re compute your capacitor values they maybe off and is running hi more than it should

 

The Infineon model IR2110S is not obsolete, Multisim model attached.
Someone may have modified a model for higher tolerance RETOL.
U2 Max961, U1 must be off page.

Infineon has an extensive simulation and spice support, The Infineon simulator.
IR2110S - Infineon Technologies
TINA online simulation, shows analysis using optimos mosfets. I tryed the IRFZ44N, they worked.
The Infineon simulation shows a good setup.
