Hello Everybody,
I have some of those IR headphones from mobile AV systems that I would like to use at home.
OK so it's for my dad (he watches tv so loud)
Anyway, I don't know what the frequency that is used.
All I know is that the ones from accellvision works on my 06 Ridgeline and 04 & 07 Odyssey.

Thanks for any help...

Your IR is the carrier frequency. The audio is the modulation. You need a transmitter to take the audio from the tv and send it to the headphones.

Before you get too far - Radio Shack has a line of IR headphones. The $20 model works pretty well. That might save you some frustration.

After I posted I dug around on google and I kind of got the idea that it would be cheaper to go that route...

Thanks for the reply....
