Inverse of permittivity

hey guys, quick question, is there such a thing as the inverse of dielectric permittivity? Like there is an inverse of resistance which is conductance?Thanks,Greg

No, there isn't an inverse of permittivity in the same way there is an inverse of resistance (conductance) - think of the definition of permittivity - it is a measurement of the ability of a material to polarise in the presence of an applied field. Think about what an inverse concept would be characterising. There is an analogous concept known as the Susceptibility, which is directly related to the permittivity.
