Hi have the below Integrated Circuit and am not 100% sure that I've interpreted a line drawn down one side of the chip as the side the number 1 pin starts from. I understand they are numbered anti-clockwise and are usually knotched or market in some way.
If you look at my IC (I've taken multiple pictures as my pics aren't totally clear), there is a line drawn to the left of the 2415 on all the IC's. I'm assuming that that's the polarity marker but I just wanted to check before soldering. Sorry for the poor quality pics but these things are smaller than a match head.
