I've been considering picking up a IR rework station for light bga work. Does anyone have any recommendations? I try to avoid most bga work but I do need to do some once in awhile. Mostly mpc5xxx's and simular mcu's. So far I have been curious about the IR6500 at around $500 but I see some very cheap looking things around $150 and wondering if they even work. I currently use hot air but I imagine IR stations have got to make things a bit easier/safer?
