I'm DIY'ing a controller for a few heaters I'm placing on my covered deck. I've listed and linked the specific components below. This will all be controlled by an Arduino Uno Wifi Rev2.
I am using a 240V / 16A infrared heater and planning to have 10 gauge wire from a double pole 20 amp breaker. From the breaker I'll have one hot line go through a SSR and then to a leading edge dimmer so I can turn the heaters on/off (SSR) and adjust the output of the heater (dimmer) all controlled by the Arduino board. My understanding is I should be able to have the other hot wire go directly to the heater. Is this an acceptable approach?

SSR: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09GLRRGLT...
Dimmer: https://www.tindie.com/.../pwm-16a-3500w-triac-leading.../
TIA!
