These lights work good if you put a 10 ohm resistor in series with the input 12v
Lest they burn out in less than a year. They have lasted 6+ years so far with the resistors.

I use the same type IR light unit, I under run the 12Vdc at ~10Vdc, mine have run almost 3 years, no problems.
IIRC the current draw is approx 160mA to 200mA, so a 10R would also drop about 2V
On one Camera+ light unit I used a supposed 12Vdc wart PSU, which actually output 15Vdc, the light lasted less than a week.!
I now use that Camera [with no IR] inside the house, looking out thru a window.
The outside IR lights provide enough illumination for a very good night image and I don't get the windows internal reflection back into the camera.
