Information for proper charging of banked batteries 8v

Supposedly the 16%eff. cells are .5v avg. The supplier said that is normal output. So, my 72 cell panel should average 36v. I do have extra cells. I haven't decided if I should go ahead and make them 80 cell panels or not. If the 72 cell panel outputs more than 36 volts open circuit in bright sun is yet to be seen. It would be nice if I get at least 30v loaded. Do you have a circuit recommendation for a power bank charger/controller? Mppt would be nice, but I have enough patients to do without in the beginning . I have seen so many online, It would be nice to have a recommendation.

So, the bank (currently) is 3 - 8v 150ah deepcycle in series. So im starting with good ole 24vdc.
