increase voltage from 2.2 to over 3

Why is your board not obeying its specifications?

If I meter the output of the motion sensor with no load its 3.3v but when I connect it to the module it drops to 2.2 volts. I was thinking about using a Mosfet or scr but I think they all switch the negative side of the line.

Thanks for the info I didn't have one of the devices above so I used an scr and a mini relay to do the job. Wasn't as elegant as what you suggested but I had the parts.

You took the basic principle of what was wrong and found a way. That's what design work is about.:cool:

IOW, you McGyvered a solution. Excellent.

I would've used bubblegum and a matchstick, but, each to his own...
