Hi guys I have a motion sensor that puts out 2.2 volts when triggered. I also have a time delay module. To activate this it has an input of 3 volts or higher. What is the best and easiest way to increase my 2.2 volts to above 3 volts.

Why is your board not obeying its specifications?

 

If I meter the output of the motion sensor with no load its 3.3v but when I connect it to the module it drops to 2.2 volts. I was thinking about using a Mosfet or scr but I think they all switch the negative side of the line.

 

It looks like your load takes too much current for your driver.
A double invert would work.
You could also do it with an op-amp.

Thanks for the info I didn't have one of the devices above so I used an scr and a mini relay to do the job. Wasn't as elegant as what you suggested but I had the parts.
