Incorporating call command in Arduino bot

I am building a smart arduino mobile car that would be able to respond to a button when pressed or rather move towards the direction of where the button was pressed.
I am sort of in a rut as i do not know what to use for this. Bluetooth? Do i need a special code to do this?
I would be grateful if someone can come to my rescue on this.
