yes thanks this is good. i mean it was good infor for AHRS but still doesnt explain difference between AHRS and IMU, but thanks anyway i will ask some manufacturers

 

IMU is a part of a AHRS.

AHRS tends to refer to the complete system, which includes input fomr an IMU.

Now it can be argued , that an IMU is a AHRS, but with little / no system processing

My simple view, in a lot of cases, AHRS is the expensive posh name for an IMU ...

I have no difficulty understanding the difference, and your inability to find meaning within the Wikipedia entries reflects poorly on your ability to differentiate between inertial versus non-inertial systems.

IMU and AHRS are both mechanisms for determining dead reckoning positioning.

IMU uses acceleration information from accelerometers.

AHRS uses direction from gyroscopes and speed information.

You can use accelerometers to derive gyroscope information.
