Is there any difference between impulse,delta and dirac delta function?At different places i see different names of functions but with the same property of having impulse at a specified time...

There are two types of delta functions typically used. The Dirac delta function is a continuous time impulse function and the Kronecker delta function is a discrete time impulse function.
