Lots of research in superCapacitors and UltraCapacitors have cause researchers to think they discovered the better mousetrap. Unfortunately, running them at any rate that causes heat -especially on a polymer loaded with conductive particles as current carrying method. The heat causes a drop in conductivity, the higher resistance causes more heat and suddenlly, everyone realizes there is a very low current limit to the new capacitor technology.
