Hello,

I made some impedance measurements with a 2-port Bode 100 analyzer and I want to replicate the measurement with a SPICE simulator.
Does anybody know the equivalent circuit of an impedance analyzer? Is it sufficient to define an input voltage signal with a series resistance and a resistive output? Probably it's not the simple.

I was expecting something different, actually.

Isn't possible to consider a voltage source (with 50 Ohm series resistance) and a 50 Ohm load impedance at a first approximation? Of course Z values may change in case of unbalanced impedances as 0.1 / 100 Ohm or 100 / 0.1 Ohm.

 

It depends on many things, particularly the frequency and the accuracy you need. Here is a good reference:
