ImaxB6 balance charger error message

I have built a 2x3s 18650 battery pack following a you tube video because I found it difficult to get me head around drawing the cicuit of six batteries in parallel and then in series which is why I watched the video. I think it is right and when I put the meter across I get just above 10V and so I thought it was because the batteries needed a charge yet all the six batteries read 3.61v. When I put the battery on charge I get an error message (Check high Voltage) I have read the operating instructions but cannot find what it actually means. Sorry if I have put this question in the wrong place as i am new to AAC also to electronics.
