Hello everyone , newbie to the forum , i was working on a ignition cut off circuit using a mosfet , arduino nano and a switch could anyone help me out with the schematic ?? it would be really helpful

With only a switch how can i give a 5v input to the mosfet , i am not sure about it , if you have a schematic for it it would be really helpful sir

How do you expect it to work? Your request is odd. The Arduino and MOSFET seem redundant.

I have a push button switch through which im trying to cut off the ignition through a mosfet

But why are you using the MOSFET, and why is there an MCU involved?

The reason for the questions is that just a switch is enough, and if you wanted a momentary switch to act as on/off, the Arduino is far more than is required. Is there something else going on that requires it?

I was working on a motorcycle quickshifter , i have to cut off the pulses or power supply going to the ht coil / ignition in the motorcycle while shifting the gear momentarily using a switch . Im using a mosfet instead of relay because of the switching time

OK, do you have a schematic or diagram showing what you are doing so far, and how you would expect this to work?

I am sure you can get help here, but I don't think you are going to get free design work with such a poorly defined spec.
