I'm trying to It for the fourth time, what ever that means.
It Is an experiment for the forum to deal with a personality.
I am letting my buddies have a to chance openly proclaim
there friendship and chance to write History about things
to come, before they happen, like our Island Buddie seeing
his sucess now before It happens because of his ability to
do things that would be hard to project, and other current
stuff, like the T.V. post, the great photo work and details
that are clearly marked. Being amazed about the talent
of members and help In getting things done,Reflecting and
writing and being healthy.Reflecting on the cartoons and
other Images that I have to live with and comments that
I opened myself to.

All I can say is, if you are working for any company or person, and you show yourself as an asset, they will treat you like one, if you act like a liability, then no one will keep you around..... I have been working for the same company since 1994 (Wow!) anyways, Since when I started I did not have any kind of documents to prove what I knew, I had to start at the bottom, and prove my abilities.... not even 9 months later I was in charge of production and now I am the operations Manager / Software Engineer/ Mechanical Engineer / EE..... and they compensate me very well, as a matter of fact to show their appreciation, they bought me my truck... I get 3 to 4 weeks paid vacation (plus when I do take a vacation the boss always gives me extra cash and a company credit card to use however I want! My woman loves that!), and they pay 100% of my medical coverage....

So it is all in the way you present yourself as an employee..... Always put in 110%, no matter what.....

I agree completely. I have had the same type of experience, albeit not as high of a promotion. I was hired as a bus boy and within a year, I was still a bus boy but I was being paid additional bonus to keep the network up, and at the time of expansion, I was paid to layout the wifi and to layout and build the bar area. (I am a carpenter)

The point being, even as a bus boy, you can prove your worth in other fields. I was given first bid at any and all jobs that came up. Unfortunately, I was also a good bus boy so I never got moved out of that position. I cleared 100k my second year.

It was weird talking to a manager about the next step in a project and then hearing, hey go clear table 12..

I still had a job to do. I was well compensated for everything else.

People who have too much pride (if that is even the proper word) to start at the bottom because they KNOW what they know, are going to have it tough.

I have dated girls way out of my league by just getting in there and starting with jokes.. Same thing. If I walked up and said "Go out with me." would be like a degree-less person walking up to a companie and saying "Make me VP".

You gotta start hanging around doing what ever you can until your value is noticed.

An person working with electronics. Must be able to digest information from say data sheets, or other kind of specifications like work orders. They must also have attention to details. Another thing is to accept the rule "If the damn things work ship it" The customer will pay pay you for a device meeting his/hers specifications. But never pay extra for extended specifications.

As long as you behave as a court jester on a constant LSD trip. People will not take you seriously neither in this forum or in the real world whatever that may be for you.

think you are worth $50,000.00.for your un-
closed job, Data sheets sounds like counter man
you have to be careful what you post, which you
are doing.

You shouldn't be asking people stuff like that in open forum. Let them reveal what they want known. You have asked a dozen times. Leave it alone. If he wanted it to be known, he would have answered the question the first time.
