Congrats KL7AJ, That’s a long time. Does anyone still use a GDO with the antenna analysers out there?
I rescued mine from a silent key’s collection donated to out club.

Sneaky guy designed them to run from 6 Volts supplied by the scope soldering station everyone had at the time.
It has a reversed transformer inside to get the HT back.

The MFJ antenna analyzers come with a GDO attachment. I don't know how good they are. My trusty AN/PRM-10 is still the best GDO I've ever used.

 

Damn, I just sold one with all the coils because I had no idea how to use it.
