hi. im putting together a self lighting bulb, mainly from my bits box, i had a 12 volt led car sidelight. and powered it with 4 button cells.it lights quite brightly,and only needs to be on for a few minutes.
unfortunately, most of the light is directed out the top.which of course i should have expected,
i have been left behind in the recent developements in LEDs,i'm wondering if there might be something less directional (and not too pricey.)than the normal led.
i would have prefered a filament bulb , but the battery has to fit in the bayonet cap.
the red mess is from my marker pen which i used to indicate pos.
the envelope is plastic.
