But where did they get "Good Friday" and "Easter"?

Should it not be "Crucifixion day" and "Resurrection Sunday"? Where do you get a word like "Easter"? And what was good about THAT friday?

I also read once that "Good Friday" started out (perhaps) as "God Friday" or "God's Friday"...

Do you know the "formula" for Easter? I picked it up while watching a James Burke series "The Day the Universe Changed".

Easter falls on the first sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox.
