So I get this notification that I hijacked a thread? No I reported the thread.

The thread was hijacked by Flubber256 and not by me. Here is the original thread. Next time I won't bother to report anything.

As a matter of fact, you did not report the hijack. You posted a reply and hence got caught in the hijack dragnet as well.

The other member hijacked the thread not you. Unfortunately, the alert is sent out to all subsequent posters when the posts are moved to a new thread. That's how the software works and nothing we can do about it as far as I know. Don't lose sleep over it.

If you see a necropost or hijack, hit the Report button, not the Post reply.
