What is it a part of? You aren't giving us much to go on.

There's a good chance that you won't find a datasheet because it is marked with a custom part number for a manufacturer, precisely to make it hard for you to reverse engineer the product or repair it yourself.

The second line is likely a date code (1736 probably meaning the 36th week of 2017) and the QAB is likely a code indicating the actual manufacturer (or at least country of manufacture).

An ic is marked "LS-6870" and beneath it "1736QAB" yet i can't find its datasheet from common web like all datasheet.com
Is this a through-hole or a surface mount part? Often part labeling differs significantly. How many pins, and what does the tracing look like where it's connected? Please, please post a clear (*CLEAR*) image. I have 10's of thousands of datasheets and may be able to identify it or find it. I source datasheets from all over the world.

I've looked all over, and based on the scant information you provided, this is the best I could find. Chinese manufacturer 'LS', for a possible older or similar IC (an LS-6650):

This is what I found, which looks like it is probably the chip he is talking about.

But note that this chip explicitly has "Chip Rail" printed above the part number. Something you would hope that the TS would have mentioned.

An actual picture of the part in question and a description of what it is in could sure go a long way to peeling back the layers of the mystery.

When seeking assistance in identifying a mystery component, here are tips to help in the search.

1) Post a well focused close-up photograph of the component. A manufacturer's logo helps to narrow the search tremendously.
2) Post the package style and number of pins. This is mandatory information.
3) Post the type of instrument the device is used.
4) Post a photograph of the entire circuit board. Knowing the area of the board provides a clue as to the function of the component.
