I stumbled upon the LM1036 volume/tone/balance control, and I found it as the ideal IC to use in order to improve my multimedia active speakers project. The problem is that I con't find the chip in Portugal?

Where can I order it? Is there any replacement?

I don't understand how such an useful chip can't be found in Lisbon.

Thanks, I will try this. Just contacted with my local supplier, and althoung not having it, they say they can get one for about 4.18 Eur, which is a robbery.

Just checked the site and it seems that this chip is under full production. It is the only audio control circuit they have. I really hope that it is not discontinued.

Finally I got my LM1036. It cost me 4.99 Eur. It was a little expensive, but it could be worse.
