The device itself is an inexpensive, small, reprogrammable device for playing back one or more mp3/wav files and voice recorded messages. There are currently two models prototyped: button activated and light sensor activated.
It consists of STM32F0 for handling all major tasks including USB interface for communication with the desktop app, reading and writing the external flash memory, sending out audio through its DAC to the audio amplifier, and sensing button/light sensor values.
