I am looking at this circuit because I have one of these Power supplies, it just failed on me (just when I need it the most )
I really don't want to have to buy a new unit .
here is my problem just in case anyone on here has come across this problem.
The LCD started ( both current and voltage display) displaying garbage . Having checked the output with DVM to my Suprise it now outputs Zero to 32 volt when I adjust the voltage. and the current limit circuit seems to work after a fasion. If anyone has come across this problem or have any ideas I would love to hear from you. Been checking around seems like the voltages on the volts adjust pot are double what they should be . checked around the voltage regulator and the Zener's are all at the correct voltage .

Turn the current control to its maximum setting and try again.

 

It's a linear psu , so it should be easy to fault find..
